Our Mission

AudienceM is a data company that identifies users “culture” based on their contextual (what kind of content they consume), behavioral (what how often they consume the content), and/or social (how they communicate, engage and/or share various content). It gathers such data from various publisher and technology partners.It is our goal to provide users with culturally relevant advertising, with culture being anything from ethnicity to lifestyle. We want to deliver personalized ads to help users feel less annoyed by irrelevant advertising they might be seeing on a daily basis.

Our Users

Knowledge is key and we educate our users with insight how we see them on their connected devices. Quite simply, we do not know who you are, we place an anonymous identifier, in a cookie form, within your web browser or device. Anyone “cookied” by AudienceM is a random combination of letters and numbers (ex: User 1 = X83Hnn). You can learn more here.

We do not store anything that is considered personally-identifiable information (PII). This means that we do not know your name, address, phone number or email address.

What We Collect

AudienceM collects digital behavior though online activities in order to provide you with the most relevant and appealing advertising. We may collect information about how you engage with advertisements we serve with meta information like your IP Address, pages viewed, ads clicked, Internet Service Provider, time and date of visit, referring URL, unique device identifiers, browser types, language settings and operation system information. We reserve the right to retain this information for up to 24 months unless the user opts out.

With respect to the recent Court of Justice of the European Union and participating nations invalidation of EU/US Safe Harbor program, AudienceM targets users in the EU regions only using contextual and geo-location data, without the capture of IP, MAC or individual cookie level data. How We Utilize This Information

The data collected on each user allows us to measure effectiveness of advertisements, our publishers and our advertisers in order to better serve you ads in the future.

Information Sharing

AudienceM may share the anonymous data we collect with technology partners, business partners and service providers.

We may share information when we believe such action is appropriate to comply with the law (e.g., legal process or a statutory authorization); to enforce or apply our customer agreements; to initiate, render, bill, and collect for services; to protect our rights or property, or to protect users of those services from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful use of, or subscription to, such services; or if we reasonably believe that an emergency involving immediate danger of death or serious physical injury to any person requires disclosure of communications or justifies disclosure of information without delay.

We may transfer information to a successor entity in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or other corporate change. If AudienceM is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership or uses of your information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your information.

Opt Out Policy

You may choose to opt-out of interest-based advertising. You can click below to opt-out of having the AudienceM platform used to select ads for your browser based on your online web browsing behavior.


When you opt-out, an opt-out cookie will be stored in your web browser. AudienceM Platform will know the choice you have made when it sees your opt-out cookie, and will apply your choice to all ads served by the AudienceM Platform. If you block or delete the opt-out cookie, the Platform will not see your choice.

  • The opt out cookie may not work if your browser is configured to block third-party cookies.
  • If you delete your cookies, you will need to opt out again. There are browser plugins to help you preserve your opt out cookies.
  • The opt out only applies to the browser in which you set it. For example, if you set the opt out while using Firefox, but then use Chrome, the opt out will not be active in Chrome. To opt out in Chrome, you will need to repeat the opt out process.
  • The opt out does not block or delete cookies, or prevent the use of cookies or other technologies for purposes other than selecting ads based on your interests as inferred by your online behavior. If you opt out, data may still be collected about your web browsing activities and you will still see advertising. Ads may be selected, for example, based on the content of the web page in which they are shown. If you wish to block or delete cookies altogether, you can use web browser settings to do so.

We use multiple physical, electronic and managerial methods of safeguarding your data to protect the information we collect and maintain. As no security system is impenetrable, Audience M cannot guarantee the security of our database or guarantee that the information you supply with not be intercepted while being transmitted over the Internet.


The platform is designed for people over 18. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of thirteen (13). If we are made aware that we have received PII from someone under 13, we will use reasonable efforts to remove that information from our records.
